On the occasion of Gaetano Pesce's exhibition My Dear Mountains at Aspen Art Museum (May 27–October 16, 2022), the artist has created a special edition vase. Titled My Mountains, it is inspired by Aspen’s natural landscape and extends the visual principles of the architectural façade to a domestic-sized object.
My Mountains is a limited series of 25 vases, each one numbered and signed by Gaetano Pesce. In the spirit of his renowned “diversified series,” these vases are cast in hard resin from the same mold and remain individually unique due to the combination of different shades and colors in the fabrication process, creating unrepeatable works.
They can hold water and be used as flower vases, making them both functional and decorative objects.
